I picked Jane up at the airport in Hartford Connecticut at 4:20 PM. Her Plane landed early and I rode in and scooped her up right right off the airport curb. Luckily I had empted out the bike when she showed with an unauthorized 2nd bag to pack into the limited space.

she spent a few hours washington DC partying with our friend James. She got to see the capitol building, Pentagon and other landmarks from the air. She had a full day and was in aww of all the sites.

We blew off into the mountains with the wind blowing through our...well mostly her hair. I grabbed US 202 and headed north on the crooked path. Then grabbed 57 across to 5 and into my old hometown of Longmeadow Mass.

We toured the old town and I explained the history as we went. We also stopped at the local Friendly's for a snack and a couple of Fribbles taking that off of the To Do List.

We made it back to the house in Holyoke (the birthplace of Volleyball) about dinner time. We then settled in and lounged around the pool. My sister rolled in Saturday evening and we all enjoyed a rare family night.

Sunday was a lazy day spent smoking a couple of chickens for dinner. They came out great and we all over ate. jane and I spent the day in the hot tub drinking local brewed beer.

As the sun settled we suited up and rode north to North Hampton (the lesbian capital of America). We had driven through last friday night and the downtown area was packed. We had to move on due to the lack of even a single parking space in town. It was now Sunday nite and was far less crowded.

We parked across from the big ass old church on Main st and went walking looking at the cool shops and the freaks walking the streets. We then hit a few bars drinking local draughts in ols classic bars including Union Station. It is an outside bar built in an old Railroad station. The stone and brickwork was amazing.

From there we took the quick way home down the freeway. We slept like logs filled with excitment of our trip starting in the AM.
