I have made it to the family compound in Holyoke Massachusetts. I will be visiting with my Dad and his crew of crazies for a few days.

Dad and I hit a cool car and bike show in Ludlow at the Ludlow Elks Wednesday nite with an amazing amount of real cool toys to look at. We were there to check out a trike my dad may be interested in buying.

Thursday we fired up the Jacuzzi for the season and had a mega pot of my infamous potato soup. It fed a room full of in laws with soup to spare. The slicing and dicing and prep work putting the soup together took two hours before it sat on the stove and slow cooked all afternoon. I'm thinking it will be great in the morning for breakfast.

I fired up the ZiggyCam today at poolside. I excitedly hit the pool and my anticipation turned to shivers when I hit the cold water. after the initial "Testicle Two Step" I got a little more use to it but was back out lounging with a cold Yuenglings after a few minutes.

My new power cord for the netbook arrived yesterday! I hope this puts an end to the power issues I had on the ride out allowing me to better cam the ride once Jane gets here. The test will be on Saturday afternoon when I ride down to Connecticut to pick her up at the airport in Hartford. I can't believe that I'm sitting here in Holyoke just a short distance from a couple of major freeways and business centers and I'm struggling for a cell signal!

We did another car/bike show Friday nite also. It was a great ending to a day full of projects and running around. For dinner Lenny and I ran down to little Puerto Rico to a local restaurant and picked up a mess of pulled pork, rice n beans and steak n peppers. That was a fun run. I was the only person there that had no idea what everyone was saying (spanish) so I did alot of nodding.

I haven't touched the bike since I got here. I parked it in my Dad's theater building, the "Odditorium" and left it. I need to wash the thousand miles of rain thrown dirt off it before rolling out for the coast of Maine with Jane Monday morning.

The Odditorium is a small theater used for small productions and shows. It's a popular venue for the professional Actors, Magicians, Illusionists and Escape artists in the New England area. It is a favorite place for the artists to practice their shows on stage in front of an audience allowing them to perfect the details and enjoy the company of their peers. It's a small museum of bits a pieces of the Magic Industry. Stuff from magicians world wide including things from my Dad's performances from here to the Magic Castle in LA and events in Europe.

We worked on upgrading the large sound system wednesday evening. We had Lenny up in the rafters moving around large PA speakers while I sat at the Seance table dozing off while doing the sound check. These big trips move my schedule around so much that as a night worker it takes a week to adapt to getting up early. I'm getting up only a few hours after my normal bed time! Second shift hours suit me much better... My bike has been parked in front of the stage since I got here.

The next big thing to watch will be the Cam Ride Saturday to pickup Jane. Then on Monday we head out east to the Atlantic Ocean and up the coast of Maine. That works perfect as the celtic band "Iona" will be staying here next week while on their tour and will need our bedroom during their stay.
