We got up and headed north up the coast where we found a place called the Crab & bull . There we fulfulled one of Jane's dreams of eating lobster in Maine. I enjoyed one of the best salad and soup bars I ever played in.
From there we rolled up to Kennebunk and cruised the beaches. Kennebunk had the foresight to require a parking permit to park anywhere in the town. No endless layers of tourists and plenty of free parking along the water for the locals.
having been denied access to the ocean we headed inland up rt- 35. We ran that till it got screwy and from there blindly followed the GPS. We came across a cool river with rapids and an old mill. We walked the river and jammed with some locals.
We kept heading west and finally found a cool ass motel in Conway New Hampshire.
I rode up the road and grabbed a pizza and some booze for the evening.
We parked next to a Rolls Royce and settled in to our room. the pool was too cold for me but Jane swam around until the Mege glass of Vodka and Tonic was gone. The rain was coming fast so I had to cover the seats and batten down the hatches.
